Munich campus
Right in the heart of Munich, nestled in the district of Haidhausen, lies the Munich campus. With the founding of the university and its two locations at the beginning of the 1970s, the Faculty of Social Work, Munich was established - parallel to the Faculty of Social Work, Benediktbeuern - and today is the largest faculty at the KSH, with around 1,300 students. In addition to social work, it offers degree programmes in childhood education, applied social and educational sciences, and the management of social and healthcare facilities. The Faculty of Nursing was founded in 1999, and today is one of the largest faculties nationwide in academic training for healthcare professions.
In addition to Bachelor's degree programmes, the KSH also offers consecutive Master's degree programmes at the Munich campus. Around 500 students commence their studies here per academic year. Despite the big city and the inner-city location, the university has retained its familial scale, and students and lecturers are in personal contact.
