The Dean's Office at the Faculty of Health and Nursing

The Dean's Office at the Faculty of Health and Nursing, with Dean Prof. Dr. Anita Hausen, Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Clemens Koob and Dean of Studies Prof. Dr. Hildegard Schröppel, represents the interests of the faculty, both within and outside of the university. It is supported by the faculty managers, whose main tasks lie in the organisation of studies and curriculum advice. The team is completed by the faculty secretary.

The tasks of the Dean's Office include representing the faculty’s interests, organising the internal administration, ensuring the quality of teaching and controlling the further development of the degree programmes on offer. The Dean's Office plans and executes the faculty’s own budget, manages the processes of quality development, invites stakeholders to the committee meetings and implements the decisions. Since nursing is still quite a new academic discipline under high pressure to change and one which is of high social relevance, the Dean's Office consistently pursues the profession’s political and educational topics, and feeds them back into the university committees.

Memberships:

• Member of the Conference of Deans of Nursing and those responsible for the nursing degree programmes at Bavarian universities of applied sciences and technical universities
• Member of the Conference of Deans of nursing science departments and institutes and associated representatives of nursing science degree programs at colleges, universities and polytechnics in the Federal Republic of Germany
• Member of "Deutsches Institut für Pflegewissenschaft (dip)"
